In the automobile industry, Toyota Land Cruiser is considered as an equivalent of an Ox. In a true sense this is actually a full size sports utility vehicle. Though there are very few owners of this car in India, but those who own it, will never get tired of praising the vehicle. Few days back we found our self lucky as we got a chance to spend some quality time with the proud owner of this vehicle & also a Toyota dealer. In entered in the Indian market few years back, but it was born in the year 1950 & since then it is being running in many foreign countries. The latest variant of it belongs to 200 series. While analyzing the car closely, we became a very loyal fan of it.

The chassis of 200 series vehicle has seen heavy changes. The chassis of Toyota Tundra has been modified & fitted in to it. When this series was launched, it was scrutinized by the people & it being the full size SUV, it was very much expected. Learning from the past experiences it has given more importance to the braking system & the suspension. As like its ancestors, the car has been given robust looks which make it to lead the competition with its primary rival, Land Rover. It is the capability of Land Cruiser to rule almost any kind of terrain & that has made it the most preferable choice of service personals of various nations.

In the heart of this car, it has 4.5 liter V8 Diesel engine with 32-valve & Dual Overhead Camshaft. 210 KW of power is developed by the mini power plant at 3600 RPM & the 650NM of torque is generated at 1600-2800 RPM. Power to all the wheels is equally transmitted by its 6-speed automatic transmission which is controlled electronically. It is fairly smaller in height but it can accommodate 8 people in it.
