Renault launched 2 variants of Fluence for the Indian Market. The higher end variant is a petrol car & the lower one has been kept in the diesel bracket. Renault Fluence is not manufactured in India, instead it is brought down in parts & those parts are assembled at the Chennai facility, co-owned by Renault & Nissan. Previously, Renault came up in the Indian market, with Renault Logan, while being in partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra. But some time later, the joint venture came to an end. Thus the arrival of Renault Fluence is seen as the beginning of another innings, in India. Petrol variant of Fluence has comparatively more features as compared to Diesel variant but people are avoiding themselves to purchase the petrol version as because of rise in the fuel prices. Due to this, the company has planned to upgrade the diesel variant without bringing any alterations in the price. Petrol version is an automatic variant, in terms of gearbox, but in the diesel model, gears have to be changed by hands.
Renault Fluence Car is very much stylish & is surely a head turner. Though the car is being manufactured in some another country, which has increased the cost to certain moment, but it comes with some advantages as well, like in the manufacturing of its components, advance technology & material is used. The numerical value of the wheel base is 2703 mm, making it very much comfortable. The ride quality with superb handling takes it miles ahead of other cars.
Front portion has a sliding hood, carrying the symbol of the company. To add up to its beauty, designers have placed front wipers under the back portion of hood. The sliding hood not only improves its styling but it, with other features like character lines, enhances the aerodynamics. The interiors of the Fluence Car are so attractive that once seen, it will be a desire to sit & enjoy the luxuries & comfort. The dashboard, equipped with buttons for various functionalities, gives a very soft touch but it is hard for all other type of liquids. Air conditioner, conditions the air as per the requirement. As we have already stated that advance technology is used in it, which makes it very much user friendly & convenient. While entering in the car, one will now not require those long & bulky keys in various designs. With the launch of this vehicle, the era of smart, simple yet stylish card has started. With the controls mounted on the steering wheel, the driver can not only easily control the inbuilt music system but can also plug in, enjoy & control the iPod, or any other music device with the USB socket.
The technology & styling is not the only thing, which was present in the minds of Renault Engineers while designing it. They were equally concerned for the safety of their dear customers & thus they have equipped Renault Fluence with seat belts, fog lights, air bags, ABS, to name a few.
