Description - The Skoda Yeti is an interesting car and may not feel natural at first. The look of this car has a unique feel from the front and sides but appears very boxy from the rear. Despite the look of this car’s backend, it’s really quite practical. It’s the boxy design that allows for the space this car provides. The style differs greatly from other SVUs bust still has excellent 4x4 capabilities. There is also plenty of leg room for the passengers. Additionally, the space can be adjusted by moving the rear seats.
The Skoda Yeti is rather comfortable even in rough driving situations. It comes with leather seats all around that are ideal for long driving periods. An excellent view can be found from the driver’s seat and there will be no fear of the view being obstructed. This comfort allows for an excellent ride.
This car can be expected to drive very easily because of the 140 BHP engine. It has a torque variant of 320 NM that will peak at 1750-2500 rpm. You can expect an actually 1-100 in 9.9 seconds; that’s really fast for an SUV! This model has 6 gears and one gear in reverse. Mileage can be expected to run about 17.8 per l at a mixture of 60$ highway and 40% city travel. With such a powerful engine, this actually very good gas mileage.
One of the best features of this car is the quietness of the engine with its impressive pace. Most Diesel sedans/ SUVs are not as quiet as this car so that feature really stands out. You will experience no more than minor turbolag so there are no issues there as this car is quite responsive. I would go so far as to say the ride quality of this model is far better than its competitors. With the roominess of this model there is still little need to struggle with parking because despite the roominess it is still rather compact and will fit easily into any parking space. Additionally, the compactness of this car makes maneuvering through traffic a breeze.
The bottom line is Skoda Yeti will meet all necessities required by most family units. As long as your family is not in need of 12 seats, this may just be your best family car option. Aside from all this, it is environmentally friendly and is known to have a very small carbon footprint. It goes to show that even SUVs can be efficient while still friendly to the environment.
Pros: The engine is excellent. It is a compact model and can fit into any parking space. The seating is quite comfortable.
Cons: One of the seats in the middle is constricted by AC vents. This model has a small tendancy to stall while idling at low rpms.
