Description - A year back when I thought of upgrading from my old Santro to a bigger hatch I had a few options inline. However my eyes rolled over on the offering by Tata for its new Manza which had been redesigned and offered at Rs.4.8lakhs ex-showroom. It came to about the same amount as the other hatchbacks I was checking out. Also I wont say its a mid size sedan but the car has been largely built and looks taller. Also the base variant which I finally went for offered me couple of hi tech features which includes the 2-Din stereo along with many other necessary fittings. Also the car gets power windows, central lock system, and a decent interior trim. I believe all these were more than what I was looking for.
The boot space is huge compared to any other high value sedans that are available in the market today. What has impressed me over the past 8 months since I own this beauty was the mileage which was averaging around 12-13 kmpl. Although it is driven by a driver I have a great time when am behind the wheels. For a family size of 6 like mine it has been good to accommodate all. On the highways for a weekend trip with a family has been a great drive. I would say manza has been a good performer till now for me but one thing Tata could improve further is the styling of the car.
