Description - I own the Mitsubishi Outlander since November 2009. Overall the car is a very comfortable to drive but the fact that I have been disappointed is the badly built body and the reliability. There were a few issues which I had to face after the car touched about 20,000 kms. The first among those was a noise which actually was termed as creaking by the servicemen which came from the front left brakes of the car. I was told that it was caused due to the rust in that part of the car. It was replaced and it was fine until I felt the same problem a few months back and the same had to be done. The color quality is also not very good as after 2 years the front color in the bumpers started to chip out and leave spots behind. I read some positive reviews about the car on the internet and I guess the newer editions would have been checked for all the issues I have faced. In terms of power and drivability the car is a decent performer but the issues faced due to the brakes as well as the exteriors of the car has been disappointing considering the fact that the car is not a cheaply priced car by any means. When you look at it from far the looks are aggressive and surely competes any SUV in the arena. But a few things as mentioned above if worked on this would be a perfect SUV for all.
