Description - In the race where the market suddenly seems to have been filled by small car buying one seemed to be a big problem for me. I almost did a test drive of almost all the cars in the segment….. The Wagon R’s or the i10’s even the estillo or the spark’s. I tried them all. But to me a car which appealed to me in terms of looks and styling and ofcourse the brand of Maruti was the Ritz… Yes this car which is about 4 months old to me now came out to be the winner when I thought of going for a small car which looks compact and packs in power….. Also it came well within my budget of 4.2 lakhs which was a little over Rs.4lakh bracket which I was looking for.
Till date I had all the fund driving it around the city and trying out at high speed… To my delight this is a fun car to be in… It has a very good handling and suspension and the air conditioner is actually much better than what I have experienced in some of the Maruti cars I have been in. The leg room inside is pretty good which from outside might look to be cramped within… However the ground clearance of the front seats seem the best in the ones I drove before going for this… One thing which I would have liked to be higher is the mileage which is slightly giving me around the mark of 12 to 13kmpl in the city without much of the air conditioner being used. Overall I rate this as a nice car for a small young family bestowed with great styling from Maruti…..
