Description - Maruti A-Star is something which I call a mixture of sensitivity and styling. The aerodynamics which I had been hearing since I purchased the Lxi variant last summer truly gives this car a sporty feel. While buying the car I had an option to go for the i10 or this wonder. But being a Maruti fan for years I was inclined to buy this sweet looking car. On road prices touched Rs. 3,88,000 which was pretty much within the budget which I was looking at. One thing which I believe makes this car stand out is the handling of this car. Driving at a speed of 120kmph on the Noida Expressway was simply amazing which I never found in any of the cars of the same size i.e. the Santro or the Wagon-R. The ride rather is too much of fun for me while zooming along small lanes and areas where it would he seemed congested to drive a car.
From the day 1 when I bought the car it has been consistently delivering a mileage between 18-19kmpl regularly with half of the times being driven with the air conditioner. Many people say the back seat to be short of leg room, but I am 5’10” and dint face any problems until the front seats were pushed way to back. Yeah I always felt the car was on the shorter side when others in the segment were taller but to me the car has a great ground clearance. Overall to me my A-star truly stands out to be the one of the best choices I made for my very 1st car.
