Toyota, which is well known for its dependable & impervious values, has now imparted them to Prius.
There are still many automakers who are still researching on the technique to build a hybrid vehicle which can use both electricity & petrol as a fuel but with Toyota Prius Company has already entered into the third generation of such vehicles. People have started honoring the vehicle because of its commendable fuel economy, excellent driving & stimulating characteristics. With a pointed nose, exteriors are very sharp & sleek. It is larger from its previous generation precursors but with the use of modern day technology, the overall body weight has been reduced which is also beneficial for improving the mileage.
A rectangular air dam has been engulfed between the vertical slots for the fog lamp. For the very first time in our test driving history, we saw that these slots also house the side turn indicators. Apart from the side skirts which are having a chrome finish, everything from the front bumpers to rear bumpers, outer rear view mirrors & door handles is in body color. At the back, as like the front fog lamp slot, the rear tail light cluster has also been placed vertically. Whatever knowledge Toyota Designers had gained during their designing course, it seems they have applied that fully as the rear portion is clearly a masterpiece.
Prius, a Latin word which means “to go before”, has an electric motor & a petrol engine. Launched with two interior trim options, Toyota Prius Z3 & Toyota Prius Z4, the Z4 version has the seats covered with the leather & seat heater is also there. In the Z3 version, fabric seat material has been used & the seat heater is absent from the car. The hybrid nature of Prius Car helps in minimizing the pollution & due to the fabulous sales history of Toyota, this first hybrid car from the Toyota factory is the strongest contestant among the Hybrid vehicles.
Glancing at it from a certain angle, it appeared to us that the Company has done modifications in Toyota Innova by lowering down the body & extending the front part, making it look very lustrous & fine. On opening its hood we found that it is very multifarious & taking it to its service center, either to get some new parts or to get its service done, the process may cost a bit heavier on the pockets.
