Ford Figo Car - November 2024 

Ford Figo is Ford India’s first hatchback, marking Ford India’s debut in the most competitive market segment in India. The car gets its name from the Italian expression which means ‘cool’. Living up to its name, the car is surely an attractive and affordable hatchback worth owning. 

Figo was Unveiled in December 2009 in Delhi, the car is neat and stylish. The underlying technology is similar to that engineered in Ford Fiesta. The car makers have chosen to skip the unnecessary details that were insignificant in the earlier models. But this doesn’t imply any scrimping on the safety front to make it more affordable. The Ford Figo comes in eight variants, thus offering multiple options to the consumers. The fine engine helps the car deliver outstanding performance both on highways and in the city. The engine also delivers good fuel performance at a very reasonable price. The hydraulic power supported steering and suspension has been well-engineered giving a gratifying driving experience. Ford Figo has gone through various tests and has emerged through each of these with great success. The finish on the exterior is classy and aesthetic. 

Ford Figo lacks the modernity visible in other recently launched hatchbacks. The legroom in the rear is just average. Tall people may complain about the headspace. The engines fail to exploit the car’s kinetics. The car also lacks any first class variant. But the advantages offered by this car may outlive its disadvantages. Its robust build and comfortable interiors make it class apart from its competitors.  Figo car is spacious with fuel efficient engine and stylish on the inside and outside.

With the attractive features Ford seems to target the urban youth. It has worked equally well on the interior as well as on the exterior. Overall, the Ford Figo is a very impressive car.
